Job Description:

Experience:         Minimum of  4 to 6 year experience required.

*Under general supervision, the ideal candidate?s responsibilities include:

R    Installing, developing, deploying, testing and supporting various PHP and Drupalwebsites.

R    Interfacing with the system analyst to fully understand and gather the websites* requirements.

R    Working with a team of UI Designers and UI Developers to develop conversion projects.

R    Managing Linux System Infrastructure, Install software packages.

The ideal candidate will use the following to exceed our expectations:

R    Diverse background working with all technologies in the LAMP stack (especially PHP and MySQL)

R    4 to 6 years of experience in PHP, MySQL and exposure to developing with DrupalCMS.

R    Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML and other web standards.

R    Excellent ability to architect object oriented solutions based on Functional Requirements documents

R    Strong Knowledge in object oriented programming in PHP

R    Experience on Advanced web development concepts such as web services and API services.

Knowledge in the following is an Added Advantage

.         Experience working with Solr and other search engines (Sphinx).

.         Background in traditional software development methodologies and environments

.         Experience working on other programming languages is a plus (Java, python, .NET, etc.)

.         Comfortable working in a Linux based environment and experience

troubleshooting

.         Custom module development in Drupal

.         Experience working with Third party integration and theme implementation.

.         Experience using Views, CCK, Panels, Context, Form API

.         Experience using Drush, Services, BBB, Domain Access

.         Comfortable using a revision control system such as SVN/GIT

.         Broad knowledge of Javascript/JQuery/Ajax

.         Experience with Object Oriented PHP, design patterns

.         Experience with MVC Frameworks (Zend, Symfony, CodeIgniter)

.         Experience in streaming Servers is very much appreciated (Red 5)

.         Experience with Agile/Scrum based Product Development Methodology.
